HEART-CENTERED YOGA

TRANSFORM YOURSELF

 ...through yoga, meditation and therapies

Transformation -
our only goal

TRANSFORMATION

The goal of Avalon School of Yoga is to promote global health, mental wellbeing and spiritual advancement through the practice of yoga and meditation, together with a range of traditional Western healing practices. We seek to achieve your personal development and transformation through practices that follow our philosophy of interlinking physical, mental, spiritual and planetary health.

TEACHING and THERAPEUTIC HEALING

Yogi Suri Vandana and Dawn Mason run regular classes, courses and retreats in

Glastonbury, Bridport, and other southern England locations.  These provide yoga, meditation, sound healing, kinesiology and energy healing for beginners, advanced students and trainee teachers and instructors. All teaching is by appointment only.

Philosophy

Avalon School of Yoga's teachings are based on our core beliefs:

To be maximally effective in the West, the experiential wisdom, insight and spiritual awareness of Eastern yoga practices must be (a) adapted for Western bodies and minds, (b) be informed by modern physical and medical science, and (c) be blended with traditional Western meditation and healing practices. The resulting practices will be more readily accessible to all, aiding and guiding human evolution.

Physical, mental and spiritual health are intimately linked. Individual human health is also linked to community and planetary health. We instruct our practitioners and our teachers to (a) become adept in yoga plus at least one healing mode, (b) be conscious of spirituality in and around us, and (c) to make minimal impact on our environment.
